COMMUNITY NEWS/EVENTS: "Fittest on Headson"

This Saturday (1/24) we are hosting our first in-house "functional fitness" competition.  Only CrossFit Syracuse members are allowed to participate.  If you are not a member, you need to come watch.  There will be events throughout the day.  Come experience, and be a part of, the best CrossFit community in Syracuse.

Here are the events...

- Event 1 -
8 Minutes to achieve your heaviest Ground to Overhead
Anything goes here so Power Clean and Jerk or Squat Clean and Push Press or Power Snatch
Whatever movement allows you to get the most weight overhead….DO IT!!!
All athletes will be give scheduled warm up time prior to even 1 in the Personal Training Room
Once the 8 minutes is complete, a 2 min Rest Period will begin for the athletes to adjust the weight on their bars for….
- Event 2 – 10 min time Cap
21 – 15 – 9
Front Squat (135/95) Scaled (95/65)
Lateral Burpee Bar Hops
Box Jumps (24/20) Scaled (20/16 and step ups are allowed)
- Event 3 -
17 min AMRAP
10 Pullups (Scaled – Jumping Pullups)
20 Shoulder to Overhead (115/75) Scaled (85/55)
