COMMUNITY NEWS/EVENTS: End of Clean Eating Challenge and Game Night at CFS!

Today marks the end of our 6 week "Clean Eating Challenge" at CrossFit Syracuse.  Hopefully everybody who participated had great results and, most importantly, learned a lot about their own nutrition habits and lifestyle.

A few things I hope you learned...

  • The more vegetables you eat the better you feel, and perform, and sleep, and are in a better mood, and sleep better, and have more energy, and...
  • Fat is good for you and there is no need to be scared of eating it.
  • Sometimes to lose weight you need to eat more food.
  • The more active you are the more food you need. (eating less and working more doesn't work!)
  • What works for one person doesn't always work for another.  You need to see what works for you.
Don't let this be the end of your clean eating.  Take the habits you've developed over the past 6 weeks and continue the healthy lifestyle.  We have the CrossFit Open starting next week.  Keep up the healthy lifestyle habits to help your performance!  Then spring will be here.  Eat clean now for that beach body come spring!


I would also like to let everyone know about our Game Night at CFS this Saturday,  February 21. Doors open at 6:30pm and games will begin at 7. We'll play a variety of "minute to win it" style games as a group, and feel free to bring beverages or snacks if you'd like. Families and friends welcome!
